National Wellbeing Service: Journals
The National Wellbeing Service publishes a range of daily health related online newsletters and in 2017 it is launching three academic journals:
The journals are published online and articles are peer reviewed. Each journal focuses on the theory, research and practice of the particular field. The journals are sponsored by professional bodies and corporate companies.
Publication frequency
Journal items are published online as soon as they have been processed and are added to the “current” volume’s Table of Contents. On an occasional basis, the publishers may print a paper journal version of the articles published.
Article and page numbering
In order to publish accepted articles promptly, National Wellbeing Service journals will use article numbers instead of the traditional method of continuous pagination through any particular volume. (For convenience and to aid citation of quotes from the text, page numbers starting at page one will still be used within each article.)
Reference style
In the reference section authors should use one of the following citation style: APA Style®. It must be used consistently and authorship of cited works is adequately attributed, with all information necessary to locate cited material included. (The APA kindly provide a free short online tutorial designed for those who have no previous knowledge of APA Style®.)
Citing articles
The articles from journals can be cited in the following style which need to include the article URL:
